Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.

Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding. Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

Product Description

DDB2 antibody LS-C18970 is an unconjugated rabbit polyclonal antibody to human DDB2. Validated for ELISA, IP and WB. Cited in 2 publications.
About DDB2
Required for DNA repair. Binds to DDB1 to form the UV-damaged DNA-binding protein complex (the UV-DDB complex). The UV-DDB complex may recognize UV-induced DNA damage and recruit proteins of the nucleotide excision repair pathway (the NER pathway) to initiate DNA repair. The UV-DDB complex preferentially binds to cyclobutane pyrimidine dimers (CPD), 6-4 photoproducts (6-4 PP), apurinic sites and short mismatches. Q92466 NM_000107 NP_000098.1

Clonality
Polyclonal
Conjugations
Unconjugated
Purification
Delipidated and defibrinated

Applications
  • Western blot (1:500 - 1:1000)
  • Immunoprecipitation
  • ELISA (1:2000 - 1:10000)
Immunogen
DDB2 antibody was raised against synthetic peptide from human DDB2.
Epitope
C-Terminus
Specificity
Amino acids 419-427 of Human DDB2 (C-terminal) coupled to KLH.
Usage
This antibody reacts with human DDB2 by western blot and immunoprecipitation. The antibody immunoprecipitates in vitro translated protein and protein from cell lysates (using 293T, and others). Coimmunoprecipitation of related proteins has not been tested. A 47.8 kD band corresponding to human DDB2 is detected. Most cell lines expressing DDB2 can be used as a positive control. Researchers should determine optimal titers for other applications.
Presentation
Serum. Supplied as a liquid, 0.1% sodium azide.
Storage
Store vial at -20°C prior to opening. Aliquot contents and freeze at -20°C or below for extended storage. Avoid freeze-thaw cycles. Centrifuge product if not completely clear after standing at room temperature.
Restrictions
For research use only.
Guarantee
This antibody carries the LSBio 100% Guarantee.
