Services
  • Immunohistochemistry Services

  • Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.

  • TCR Screening Services

  • Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding. Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

Specificity and Use

DAO / D Amino Acid Oxidase antibody was raised against porcine kidney D-Aminoacid oxidase
Porcine DAO / D-Amino Acid Oxidase. The reagents were evaluated for potency, purity and specificity using most or all of the following techniques: immunoelectrophoresis, cross-immunoelectrophoresis, single radial immunodiffusion (Ouchterlony), block titration, ELISA, immunoblotting and enzyme inhibition. Cross-reactivity Cross-reactivities against enzymes of other sources may occur but have not been determined.
This product is intended for use in precipitating and non-precipitating antibody-binding assays (such as e. g., ELISA and Western blotting and immunofluorescence or histochemical techniques). The applications listed have been tested for the unconjugated form of this product. Other forms have not been tested.

About DAO / D Amino Acid Oxidase

P14920 NM_001917 NP_001908.3

DAO Antibody, D-amino acid oxidase Antibody, DAAO Antibody, D Amino Acid Oxidase Antibody, DAMOX Antibody, OXDA Antibody

Regulates the level of the neuromodulator D-serine in the brain. Has high activity towards D-DOPA and contributes to dopamine synthesis. Could act as a detoxifying agent which removes D-amino acids accumulated during aging. Acts on a variety of D-amino acids with a preference for those having small hydrophobic side chains followed by those bearing polar, aromatic, and basic groups. Does not act on acidic amino acids.
