Lung cancer cell preparation.
Specificity
Directed against the 58kD and 52.2kD cytokeratin proteins (cytokeratins 5 and 8), reacts with all epithelial cell types. No reaction is observed in non-epithelial tissues. Can be used for the discrimination of carcinomas from non-epithelial tumors such as lymphomas, sarcomas and neural tumors. Species cross-reactivity: Human, most mammals including mouse, rat, hamster, rabbit, canine and porcine.

Usage
Suitable for use in Immunofluorescence, Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry (frozen sections; paraffin sections, Proteolytic treatment with pronase or trypsin required; Formalin fixation may cause antigen denaturation or masking. Therefore, protease digestion is necessary prior to antibody application). Immunohistochemistry: 1:5-1:10. Positive control: Skin, cervix.
