Services
  • Immunohistochemistry Services

  • Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.

  • TCR Screening Services

  • Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding. Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

Specificity and Use

CYTIP antibody was raised against this antibody was prepared from whole rabbit serum produced by repeated immunizations with a synthetic peptide corresponding to a region in the carboxy terminal portion of mouse Cybr.
C-Terminus
This affinity purified antibody is directed against mouse Cybr. A BLAST analysis was used to suggest cross-reactivity with Cybr from mouse and rat based on a 100% homology with the immunizing sequence. Reactivity against homologues from other sources is not known.
This antibody has been tested for use in ELISA, western blot, and immunoprecipitation. Specific conditions for reactivity should be optimized by the end user. Expect a band approximately 40 kD in size corresponding to Cybr by western blotting in the appropriate cell lysate or extract. This.

About CYTIP

O60759 NM_004288 NP_004279.3

CYTIP Antibody, B3-1 Antibody, CASP Antibody, Cbp HE Antibody, CYTHIP Antibody, Cytohesin binder and regulator Antibody, Cytohesin binding protein HE Antibody, Cytohesin-binding protein HE Antibody, CYBR Antibody, Cytohesin-interacting protein Antibody, HE Antibody, PSCDBP Antibody

CYTIP contains 2 leucine zipper domains and a putative C-terminal nuclear targeting signal, but does not have any hydrophobic regions. This protein is expressed weakly in resting NK and T cells. The encoded protein modulates the activation of ARF genes by CYTH1. This protein interacts with CYTH1 and SNX27 proteins and may act to sequester CYTH1 protein in the cytoplasm.

Western blot

Western blot
Anti-Cybr Antibody - Western Blot. Western blot of affinity purified anti-Cybr antibody shows detection of endogenous Cybr from mouse splenocytes using anti-Cybr antibody to immunoprecipitate and western blot (lanes 1-3). Lane 1 shows reactivity of pre-immune sera. Lane 2 shows endogenous Cybr detected with antibody. Lane 3 shows no band detected in lysates prepared from splenocytes of Cybr knock-out mouse. Lane 5 shows direct Western blot of wt splenocytes. Lane 6 shows direct Western blot of knock out mouse. Personal Communication, V. Coppola, NCI, Bethesda, MD.
