  • Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.

  • TCR Screening Services

  • Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding. Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

About CYP8B1

CYP8B1 Antibody, CYP12 Antibody, Cytochrome P450 8B1 Antibody, CP8B Antibody, Sterol 12-alpha-hydroxylase Antibody, Sterol 12alpha-hydroxylase Antibody, CYPVIIIB1 Antibody

CYP8B1 is a member of the cytochrome P450 superfamily of enzymes. The cytochrome P450 proteins are monooxygenases which catalyze many reactions involved in drug metabolism and synthesis of cholesterol, steroids and other lipids. This endoplasmic reticulum membrane protein catalyzes the conversion of 7 alpha-hydroxy-4-cholesten-3-one into 7-alpha,12-alpha-dihydroxy-4-cholesten-3-one.

Formalin-fixed and paraffin-embedded human hepatocarcinoma reacted with CYP8B1 Antibody , which was peroxidase-conjugated to the secondary antibody, followed by DAB staining. This data demonstrates the use of this antibody for immunohistochemistry; clinical relevance has not been evaluated.

Western blot

Western blot
Western blot of CYP8B1 Antibody in K562 cell line lysates (35 ug/lane). CYP8B1 (arrow) was detected using the purified antibody.

Flow Cytometry

Flow Cytometry
CYP8B1 Antibody flow cytometry of k562 cells (bottom histogram) compared to a negative control cell (top histogram). FITC-conjugated goat-anti-rabbit secondary antibodies were used for the analysis.
