Services
  • Immunohistochemistry Services

  • Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.

  • TCR Screening Services

  • Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding. Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

Specificity and Use

Horse cyt c-OVA
Immunohistochemistry: LS-B1682 was validated for use in immunohistochemistry on a panel of 21 formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded (FFPE) human tissues after heat induced antigen retrieval in pH 6.0 citrate buffer. After incubation with the primary antibody, slides were incubated with biotinylated secondary antibody, followed by alkaline phosphatase-streptavidin and chromogen. The stained slides were evaluated by a pathologist to confirm staining specificity. The optimal working concentration for LS-B1682 was determined to be 1:50.

Packaging

Phosphate-buffered solution, pH 7.2, 0.09% sodium azide, 1% BSA (origin USA), 50% glycerol.
Aliquot and store at -20°C. Minimize freezing and thawing.
For research use only.

About CYCS / Cytochrome c

P99999 NM_018947 NP_061820.1

CYCS Antibody, CYC Antibody, HCS Antibody, THC4 Antibody, Cytochrome c Antibody, Cytochrome c, somatic Antibody

Electron carrier protein. The oxidized form of the cytochrome c heme group can accept an electron from the heme group of the cytochrome c1 subunit of cytochrome reductase. Cytochrome c then transfers this electron to the cytochrome oxidase complex, the final protein carrier in the mitochondrial electron-transport chain.Plays a role in apoptosis.

Immunohistochemistry

Immunohistochemistry
Anti-Cytochrome c antibody IHC of human skeletal muscle. Immunohistochemistry of formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded tissue after heat-induced antigen retrieval. Antibody LS-B1682 dilution 1:50.

Western blot

Western blot
Hela cell extract was resolved by electrophoresis, transferred to nitrocellulose, and probed with anti-cytochrome C (clone 7H8.2C12) antibody. Proteins were visualized using a goat anti-mouse secondary conjugated to HRP and a chemiluminescence detection system.
