Services
  • Immunohistochemistry Services

  • Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.

  • TCR Screening Services

  • Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding. Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

Specificity and Use

CXCL5 antibody was raised against e.coli derived recombinant Human ENA-78.
Human ENA-78
Immunohistochemistry: This antibody stained formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded sections of human colon/rectum adenocarcinoma. The recommended concentration is 1 ug/ml-2 ug/ml with an overnight incubation at 4°C. An HRP-labeled polymer detection system was used with a DAB chromogen. Heat induced antigen retrieval with a pH 6 sodium citrate buffer is recommended. Optimal concentrations and conditions may vary. ELISA: To detect hENA-78 by sandwich ELISA (using 100 ul/well antibody solution) a concentration of 0.5-2 ug/ml of this antibody is required. This antigen affinity purified antibody, in conjunction with Biotinylated Anti-Human ENA-78 (LS-C104358) as a detection antibody, allows the detection of at least 0.2-0.4 ng/well of recombinant hENA-78. Western Blot: To detect hENA-78 by Western Blot analysis this antibody can be used at a concentration of 0.1-0.2 ug/ml. Used in conjunction with compatible secondary reagents the detection limit for recombinant hENA-78 is 1.5-3 ng/lane, under either reducing or non-reducing conditions.

About CXCL5

CXCL5 Antibody, C-X-C motif chemokine 5 Antibody, ENA-78(1-78) Antibody, GCP-2 Antibody, ENA78 Antibody, SCYB5 Antibody, ENA-78 Antibody, Small inducible cytokine B5 Antibody, Small-inducible cytokine B5 Antibody, LIX Antibody, AMCF-II Antibody

CXCL5 is a protein that is a member of the CXC subfamily of chemokines. Chemokines, which recruit and activate leukocytes, are classified by function (inflammatory or homeostatic) or by structure. This protein is proposed to bind the G-protein coupled receptor chemokine (C-X-C motif) receptor 2 to recruit neutrophils, to promote angiogenesis and to remodel connective tissues. This protein is thought to play a role in cancer cell proliferation, migration, and invasion.
