Specificity and Use
CX3CR1 antibody was raised against human CX3CR1
This 2A9-1 antibody has been tested by flow cytometric analysis of normal human peripheral blood cells. This can be used at less than or equal to 0.25 ug per test. A test is defined as the amount (ug) of antibody that will stain a cell sample in a final volume of 100 ul. Cell number should be determined empirically but can range from 10^5 to 10^8 cells/test. It is recommended that the antibody be carefully titrated for optimal performance in the assay of interest.

CX3CR1 a Chemokine Receptor is an HIV coreceptor, as well as a leukocyte chemotactic/adhesion receptor for fractalkine, also known as neurotactin. CX3CR1 mediates chemotactic responses to the soluble form of fractalkine in neutrophils and T cells, and cytoadhesion to cells expressing membrane-anchored fractalkine, such as monocytes, T cells, and neutrophils.
Staining of normal human peripheral blood cells with 0.125 ug Biotin Rat IgG1 isotype control (left) or 0.125 ug Biotin anti-human CX3CR1 (right) followed by PE-streptavidin. Samples were subsequently stained intracellularly with FITC anti-human Perforin (dG9). Cells were gated on CD16+CD56+ using eFluor 450 anti-human CD16 and APC anti-human CD56 (LS-C107245).
