Services
  • Immunohistochemistry Services

  • Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.

  • TCR Screening Services

  • Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding. Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

Specificity and Use

CX3CR1 antibody was raised against human CX3CR1
This 2A9-1 antibody has been tested by flow cytometric analysis of normal human peripheral blood cells. This can be used at less than or equal to 0.25 ug per test. A test is defined as the amount (ug) of antibody that will stain a cell sample in a final volume of 100 ul. Cell number should be determined empirically but can range from 10^5 to 10^8 cells/test. It is recommended that the antibody be carefully titrated for optimal performance in the assay of interest. The applications listed have been tested for the unconjugated form of this product. Other forms have not been tested.

Packaging

Aqueous buffer, 0.09% sodium azide, contains stabilizer if necessary
Store at 4°C. Do not freeze.

CX3CR1 a Chemokine Receptor is an HIV coreceptor, as well as a leukocyte chemotactic/adhesion receptor for fractalkine, also known as neurotactin. CX3CR1 mediates chemotactic responses to the soluble form of fractalkine in neutrophils and T cells, and cytoadhesion to cells expressing membrane-anchored fractalkine, such as monocytes, T cells, and neutrophils.

Flow Cytometry

Flow Cytometry
Staining of normal human peripheral blood cells with 0.125 ug Biotin Rat IgG1 isotype control (left) or 0.125 ug Biotin anti-human CX3CR1 (right) followed by PE-streptavidin. Samples were subsequently stained intracellularly with FITC anti-human Perforin (dG9). Cells were gated on CD16+CD56+ using eFluor 450 anti-human CD16 and APC anti-human CD56 (LS-C107245). This image was taken for the unconjugated form of this product. Other forms have not been tested.
