Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.

Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding. Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

Anti-Cortactin antibody IHC of human prostate, epithelium. Immunohistochemistry of formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded tissue after heat-induced antigen retrieval. Antibody LS-B7158 dilution 1:200.
Species: Human, Rat
Applications: IHC, IHC - Paraffin, Western blot
IHC of paraffin-embedded cervical cancer tissues (left) and tonsil tissues (right) using CTTN mouse monoclonal antibody with DAB staining.
Species: Human
Applications: IHC, IHC - Paraffin, Western blot, ELISA
IHC of p-Cortactin (Y421) pAb in paraffin-embedded human prostate carcinoma tissue.
Species: Human, Mouse, Rat
Applications: IHC, IHC - Paraffin, Western blot
Immunohistochemical analysis of Cortactin (pY421) staining in human breast cancer formalin fixed paraffin embedded tissue section. The section was pre-treated using heat mediated antigen retrieval with sodium citrate buffer (pH 6.0). The section was then incubated with the antibody at room temperature and detected using an HRP conjugated compact polymer system. DAB was used as the chromogen. The section was then counterstained with hematoxylin and mounted with DPX.
Species: Human, Mouse
Applications: IHC, IHC - Paraffin, Western blot, Immunoprecipitation

Product Description

About CTTN / Cortactin
CTTN / Cortactin is overexpressed in breast cancer and squamous cell carcinomas of the head and neck. The encoded protein is localized in the cytoplasm and in areas of the cell-substratum contacts. This gene has two roles: (1) regulating the interactions between components of adherens-type junctions and (2) organizing the cytoskeleton and cell adhesion structures of epithelia and carcinoma cells. During apoptosis, the encoded protein is degraded in a caspase-dependent manner. Q14247 NM_005231 NP_005222.2
