Services
  • Immunohistochemistry Services

  • Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.

  • TCR Screening Services

  • Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding. Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

About CTTN / Cortactin

Q14247 NM_005231 NP_005222.2

CTTN Antibody, Cortactin Antibody, EMS1 Antibody, Oncogene EMS1 Antibody, Amplaxin Antibody, Src substrate cortactin Antibody

CTTN / Cortactin is overexpressed in breast cancer and squamous cell carcinomas of the head and neck. The encoded protein is localized in the cytoplasm and in areas of the cell-substratum contacts. This gene has two roles: (1) regulating the interactions between components of adherens-type junctions and (2) organizing the cytoskeleton and cell adhesion structures of epithelia and carcinoma cells. During apoptosis, the encoded protein is degraded in a caspase-dependent manner.

Immunohistochemistry

Immunohistochemistry
CTTN Antibody immunohistochemistry of formalin-fixed and paraffin-embedded human breast carcinoma followed by peroxidase-conjugated secondary antibody and DAB staining.

Western blot

Western blot
CTTN Antibody western blot of HeLa cell line lysates (35 ug/lane). The CTTN antibody detected the CTTN protein (arrow).

Western blot

Western blot
Western blot of CTTN (arrow) using rabbit polyclonal CTTN Antibody. 293 cell lysates (2 ug/lane) either nontransfected (Lane 1) or transiently transfected (Lane 2) with the CTTN gene.
