Synthetic peptide corresponding to a portion of beta-catenin phosphorylated at Tyr654. Epitope: phosphotyrosine 654 (VATpYAAA).
Epitope

Specificity
Recognizes beta-catenin phosphorylated at Tyr654 and -catenin phosphorylated at Tyr654. Detects bands of ~90kD (beta-catenin) and ~70kD (gamma-catenin). Due to sequence homologies of the phospho-epitope surrounding Tyr654, there may be cross-reactions with other proteins (e. g., Annexin A11 at 56kD, desmoplakin at 81kD, TNF-alpha-induced protein 2 at 73kD, ribosomal protein S6 kinase alpha 6 at 90kD). Species cross-reactivity: human, mouse and canine.

Usage
Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Western Blot: 1 ug/ml (HRP/ECL). Recommended blocking buffer: CPPT (0.5% casein, 1% PEG 4000, 1% Polyvinylpyrrolidone (PVP), 0.1% Tween 20, 2X PBS).
