Services
  • Immunohistochemistry Services

  • Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.

  • TCR Screening Services

  • Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding. Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

Applications

  • Western blot (1:1000)
  • Immunoprecipitation
  • ELISA (1:2000)

Specificity and Use

Beta-Catenin synthetic peptide (coupled to carrier protein) corresponding to amino acid residues in the N-terminal region of human beta-Catenin. This human sequence is highly conserved in rat and mouse beta-Catenins.
N-Terminus
Detects a 92kD protein corresponding to the molecular mass of beta-Catenin on SDS-PAGE immunoblots of Hct116 src transformed cells. Similar results were seen in human endothelial, A431, and HeLa cells.
Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot, Immunoprecipitation or for antigen applications in immunological protocols. Western blotting 1:1000. Membrane was incubated with diluted antibody in 5% non-fat milk, PBS, 0.04% Tween 20 for 1hour at room temperature. Immunoprecipitation: 5-10ul. ELISA: 1:2000.

Packaging

PBS, 50% glycerol, 1 mg/ml BSA, 0.05% sodium azide.
Short term: 4°C; Long term: Add glycerol (40-50%) -20°C.
For research use only.

About CTNNB1 / Beta Catenin

P35222 NM_001904 NP_001895.1

CTNNB1 Antibody, Beta-catenin Antibody, Catenin beta-1 Antibody, CTNNB Antibody, Beta Catenin Antibody

Key downstream component of the canonical Wnt signaling pathway. In the absence of Wnt, forms a complex with AXIN1, AXIN2, APC, CSNK1A1 and GSK3B that promotes phosphorylation on N-terminal Ser and Thr residues and ubiquitination of CTNNB1 via BTRC and its subsequent degradation by the proteasome.
