Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.

Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding. Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

Applications: IHC, IHC - Paraffin, Western blot, Peptide Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay
Anti-CTBP1 / CTBP antibody IHC staining of human breast. Immunohistochemistry of formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded tissue after heat-induced antigen retrieval. Antibody LS-B9940 concentration 10 ug/ml.
Species: Human
Applications: IHC, IHC - Paraffin, Immunofluorescence, Western blot, ELISA
Immunohistochemical analysis of CTBP1 staining in human lung cancer formalin fixed paraffin embedded tissue section. The section was pre-treated using heat mediated antigen retrieval with sodium citrate buffer (pH 6.0). The section was then incubated with the antibody at room temperature and detected using an HRP conjugated compact polymer system. DAB was used as the chromogen. The section was then counterstained with hematoxylin and mounted with DPX.

Product Description

CTBP antibody LS-C31624 is an unconjugated rabbit polyclonal antibody to CTBP (CTBP1) from human, rat, dog and other species. Validated for WB.
About CTBP1 / CTBP
CTBP1 / CTBP is a protein that binds to the C-terminus of adenovirus E1A proteins. This phosphoprotein is a transcriptional repressor and may play a role during cellular proliferation. This protein and the product of a second closely related gene, CTBP2, can dimerize. Both proteins can also interact with a polycomb group protein complex which participates in regulation of gene expression during development. Q13363 NM_001328 NP_001319.1
