  • Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.

  • TCR Screening Services

  • Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding. Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

Specificity and Use

CRY1 antibody was raised against a 21 aa peptide sequence within the C-terminus of mouse CRY1 (1) was synthesized coupled to KLH.
Recognizes mouse Cryptochrome 1. Species sequence homology: monkey, human-85%; chicken-76%; frog-71%. No significant homology is seen with CRY2.
Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot and Immunoprecipitation. Western Blot: 1:1000-1:5000. ELISA: 1:10000-1:100000 using 50-100 ng of control peptide/well.

PBS, 0.05% sodium azide.
Short term 4°C, long term aliquot and store at -20°C, avoid freeze thaw cycles.

About CRY1

Q16526 NM_004075 NP_004066.1

CRY1 Antibody, Chryptochrome 1 Antibody, Cryptochrome-1 Antibody, Photolyase homolog 1 Antibody, PHLL1 Antibody

CRY1 / Cryptochrome circadian clock 1 encodes a flavin adenine dinucleotide-binding protein that is a key component of the circadian core oscillator complex, which regulates the circadian clock. This gene is upregulated by CLOCK/ARNTL heterodimers but then represses this upregulation in a feedback loop using PER/CRY heterodimers to interact with CLOCK/ARNTL. Polymorphisms in this gene have been associated with altered sleep patterns.
