Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to
worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting
immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.
TCR Screening Services
Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding.
Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".
CREB1 Antibody, CREB-1 Antibody, Transactivator protein Antibody, CREB Antibody
CREB (cAMP response element binding protein1), a DNA binding protein, is a member of the leucine zipper family of transcription factors. CREB interaction with DNA requires phosphorylation at Ser 119 by activated cAMP protein kinase A. Once phosphorylated CREB binds to an 8 base enhancer know as the cAMP response element (CRE) containing a conserved core sequence TGACG. CREB also interacts with CBP (CREB binding protein) and RNA polymerase II when phosphorylated on Ser 133.
Fluorescent image of A549 cell stained with CREB1 Antibody. A549 cells were fixed with 4% PFA (20 min), permeabilized with Triton X-100 (0.1%, 10 min), then incubated with CREB1 primary antibody (1:25, 1 h at 37°C). For secondary antibody, Alexa Fluor 488 conjugated donkey anti-rabbit antibody (green) was used (1:400, 50 min at 37°C). Cytoplasmic actin was counterstained with Alexa Fluor 555 (red) conjugated Phalloidin (7units/ml, 1 h at 37°C). CREB1 immunoreactivity is localized to Nucleus significantly.
CREB1 Antibody western blot of HT29 cell line lysates (35 ug/lane). The CREB1 antibody detected the CREB1 protein (arrow).
CREB1 Antibody flow cytometry of A549 cells (right histogram) compared to a negative control cell (left histogram). FITC-conjugated goat-anti-rabbit secondary antibodies were used for the analysis.
