Specificity
Recognizes complement receptor 1 (CR1)/CD35 (210-220kD). Specific for a site that is distal from the C3b-binding site. Does not block CR1 activity. Does not cross-react with CR2. Species cross-reactivity: Human, Rhesus Monkey and Baboon.

Usage
Suitable for Flow Cytometry, Immunofluorescence, Immunohistochemistry. Not suitable for use in Western Blot and Immunoprecipitation. Other applications. Immunohistochemistry: 2-4 ug/ml. Strongly labels follicular dendritic cells (FDC). Note: Staining of formalin-fixed tissues requires boiling tissue sections in 10 mM citrate buffer, pH 6.0 for 10-20 min., followed by cooling at RT for 20 min.
