  • Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.

  • TCR Screening Services

  • Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding. Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

Specificity and Use

CR1 / CD35 antibody was raised against human acute monocytic leukaemia cells.
Recognizes CD35, a single chain cell surface glycoprotein which exists in four allotypic forms (A, B, C, D) of 190kD, 220kD, 160kD and 250kD respectively. The molecule is expressed by granulocytes, monocytes, B cells and some T cells. Functionally CD35 acts as a receptor for the C3b component of complement. Clone E11 has been reported to be suitable for use in Western Blot.
Flow Cytometry: Use 10 ul of the suggested working dilution to label 10^6 cells or 100 ul whole blood.

PBS, pH 7.4, 0.09% sodium azide.
Short term 4°C, long term aliquot and store at -20°C, avoid freeze thaw cycles.

CR1 / CD35 is a member of the receptors of complement activation (RCA) family and is located in the 'cluster RCA' region of chromosome 1. The gene encodes a monomeric single-pass type I membrane glycoprotein found on erythrocytes, leukocytes, glomerular podocytes, and splenic follicular dendritic cells. The Knops blood group system is a system of antigens located on this protein. The protein mediates cellular binding to particles and immune complexes that have activated complement.

Antibody LS-B7301 concentration 10 ug/ml. This image was taken for the base form of this product. Alternate forms, such as conjugated, azide-free, or ready-to-use, have not been tested.
