Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to
worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting
immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.
TCR Screening Services
Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding.
Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".
Mouse Monoclonal [clone 2D8] (IgG1,k) to Human Complement C3
IHC - Paraffin, Western blot, ELISA
Rabbit Polyclonal (IgG) to Pig Complement C3
Pig Complement C3
Pig (tested or 100% immunogen sequence identity)
Western blot (1:50 - 1:400)
Specificity and Use
Complement C3 antibody was raised against recombinant C3 (Asp23-Thr300)
ELISA 0.05-2ug/ml; ICC 5-20ug/ml; WB 0.5-2ug/ml;
PBS, pH 7.4, 0.02% sodium azide, 50% glycerol.
Store frozen product at or below -20°C. Thawed product may be stored for 2-4 weeks at 4°C. For optimal storage, aliquot to smaller portions and store at -20°C to -70°C. Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles.
C3 plays a central role in the activation of the complement system. Its processing by C3 convertase is the central reaction in both classical and alternative complement pathways. After activation C3b can bind covalently, via its reactive thioester, to cell surface carbohydrates or immune aggregates.Derived from proteolytic degradation of complement C3, C3a anaphylatoxin is a mediator of local inflammatory process.
