Target
Human Collagen I
Host
Mouse
Reactivity
Human, Sheep (tested or 100% immunogen sequence identity)
Clonality
IgG1,k Monoclonal
Conjugations
Unconjugated. Also available conjugated with APC, Biotin, FITC, HRP, PE.
Purification
Protein A purified
Modifications

Immunogen
Human collagen.
Epitope
C-Terminus
Specificity
Recognizes Collagen Type I near the C-terminal. Displays a high affinity for human, bovine and sheep Type I Collagens. There is no evidence for cross-reactivity with Collagen Types III, V and VI or connective tissue proteins (Elastin, Fibronectin and Laminin) at suggested working concentrations. Species cross-reactivity: Human bovine, sheep, porcine and canine. Does not react with mouse, rat, guinea pig, squirrel, equine, kangaroo or chicken.
Applications
  • IHC
  • IHC - Frozen
  • Western blot
  • Flow Cytometry (1:100)
  • ELISA (1:50 - 1:250)
Performing IHC? See our complete line of Immunohistochemistry Reagents including antigen retrieval solutions, blocking agents ABC Detection Kits and polymers, biotinylated secondary antibodies, substrates and more.
Usage
Suitable for use in ELISA, Immunohistochemistry, Flow Cytometry, and Western Blot. ELISA (Capture): 2-4 ug/ml. ELISA (Detection): 10 ug/ml will detect 50 ng of human Collagen Type I with no reactivity with other Collagens. Higher levels of antibody may be necessary to detect lower concentrations of Collagen. Immunohistochemistry (Unfixed frozen sections): 1:50-1:250. Flow Cytometry: 1:100. Western Blot (non-denatured and non-reduced): 1:500. Positive control: Human kidney lysate.
Presentation
50 mM Tris, pH 4.5, 150 mM NaCl, 0.1% Bronidox
