Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to
worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting
immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.
TCR Screening Services
Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding.
Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

Specificity and Use
CLU / Clusterin antibody was raised against recombinant human clusterin (nuclear form).
Recognizes human clusterin. Detects a band of ~49kDa by Western blot.
The applications listed have been tested for the unconjugated form of this product. Other forms have not been tested. ELISA - Direct and indirect: 1:2000-1:5000. Western Blot - 1:2000-1:5000 using ECL. suggested blocking and dilution buffer is PBST containing 0.05% Tween 20 and 5% skim milk. suggested incubation time is 1 hour at room temperature.
PBS, pH 7.4, no preservatives.
Long term: -20°C; Short term: +4°C; Avoid freeze-thaw cycles.
Isoform 1 functions as extracellular chaperone that prevents aggregation of nonnative proteins. Prevents stress-induced aggregation of blood plasma proteins. Inhibits formation of amyloid fibrils by APP, APOC2, B2M, CALCA, CSN3, SNCA and aggregation-prone LYZ variants (in vitro). Does not require ATP. Maintains partially unfolded proteins in a state appropriate for subsequent refolding by other chaperones, such as HSPA8/HSC70. Does not refold proteins by itself.
Western blot analysis using anti-Clusterin (human), pAb at 1:2000 dilution. 1: Human Clusterin (His-tagged). 2: Human serum #1 (1 ul). 3: Human serum #2 (1 ul). This image was taken for the unconjugated form of this product. Other forms have not been tested.
