Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.

Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding. Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

Species: Human, Mouse, Rat
Applications: IHC, IHC - Paraffin, Immunofluorescence, Western blot
Human, Heart: Formalin-Fixed Paraffin-Embedded (FFPE)
Species: Human, Mouse, Rat
Applications: IHC, IHC - Paraffin, Immunofluorescence, Western blot, Peptide Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay
Immunohistochemical analysis of CKMT2 staining in human muscle formalin fixed paraffin embedded tissue section. The section was pre-treated using heat mediated antigen retrieval with sodium citrate buffer (pH 6.0). The section was then incubated with the antibody at room temperature and detected using an HRP conjugated compact polymer system. DAB was used as the chromogen. The section was then counterstained with hematoxylin and mounted with DPX.

Product Description

CKMT2 antibody LS-C31857 is an unconjugated rabbit polyclonal antibody to CKMT2 from human, mouse, rat and other species. Validated for IHC and WB.
About CKMT2
Mitochondrial creatine kinase (MtCK) is responsible for the transfer of high energy phosphate from mitochondria to the cytosolic carrier, creatine. It belongs to the creatine kinase isoenzyme family. It exists as two isoenzymes, sarcomeric MtCK and ubiquitous MtCK, encoded by separate genes. Mitochondrial creatine kinase occurs in two different oligomeric forms: dimers and octamers, in contrast to the exclusively dimeric cytosolic creatine kinase isoenzymes. P17540 NM_001825 NP_001816.2
