A 19 AA Peptide mapping at the N-Terminus of human CGRP (1) (KLH).
Epitope
N-Terminus
Specificity
Recognizes human CGRP. Species sequence homology: equine, sheep, porcine, canine, rat, bovine, frog, monkey, zebra fish (84-95%). There is just 1 aa change between the human CGRP1 and CGRP2. Significant sequence homology is also found with amylin. However, no significant sequence homology is detected with calcitonin or adrenomedullin.

- Western blot (1:1000 - 1:5000)
- ELISA (1:10000 - 1:50000)
Usage
Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Western Blot: 1:1000-1:5000 (ECL). ELISA: 1:10000-1:50000. Control peptide can be used to coat ELISA plates at 1 ug/ml.
