Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to
worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting
immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.
TCR Screening Services
Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding.
Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

Specificity and Use
Ceramide Kinase / CERK antibody was raised against synthetic peptide located between aa449-498 of human CERK (Q8TCT0, NP_073603). Percent identity by BLAST analysis: Human, Chimpanzee (100%); Dog (85%).
CERK, which phosphorylates Cer to produce ceramide 1-phosphate (C1P), was initially described as a Ca2+-stimulated lipid kinase that copurified with brain synaptic vesicles. CERK activity has been reported in HL60 cells, mast cells, and neutrophils. CERK is involved in phagolysosome formation in polymorphonuclear leukocytes and also in liposome fusion. C1P has been reported to have mitogenic effects. More recently, C1P was found to induce arachidonic acid release and prostanoid synthesis.
Ceramide Kinase / CERK antibody Western Blot of 721_B. Antibody dilution: 1 ug/ml. This image was taken for the base form of this product. Alternate forms, such as conjugated, azide-free, or ready-to-use, have not been tested.
