Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.

Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding. Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

Product Description

MLF1IP antibody LS-B211 is an unconjugated rabbit polyclonal antibody to MLF1IP (CENPU) from human, bovine and dog. Validated for ELISA, IHC, IP and WB. Tested on 20 paraffin-embedded human tissues.
About CENPU / MLF1IP
Component of the CENPA-NAC (nucleosome-associated) complex, a complex that plays a central role in assembly of kinetochore proteins, mitotic progression and chromosome segregation. The CENPA-NAC complex recruits the CENPA-CAD (nucleosome distal) complex and may be involved in incorporation of newly synthesized CENPA into centromeres. Plays an important role in the correct PLK1 localization to the mitotic kinetochores. Q71F23 NM_024629 NP_078905.2

Immunogen
CENPU / MLF1IP antibody was raised against synthetic peptide from human MLF1IP / PBIP1.
Epitope
pThr78
Specificity
Amino acids surrounding Thr78 of human MLF1IP protein.
Usage
Immunohistochemistry: LS-B211 was validated for use in immunohistochemistry on a panel of 21 formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded (FFPE) human tissues after heat induced antigen retrieval in pH 6.0 citrate buffer. After incubation with the primary antibody, slides were incubated with biotinylated secondary antibody, followed by alkaline phosphatase-streptavidin and chromogen. The stained slides were evaluated by a pathologist to confirm staining specificity. The optimal working concentration for LS-B211 was determined to be 10 ug/ml.
Presentation
0.02 M potassium phosphate, 0.15 M sodium chloride, pH 7.2, 0.01% sodium azide.
Storage
Store vial at -20°C prior to opening. Dilute only prior to immediate use. For extended storage aliquot contents and freeze at -20°C or below. Avoid freeze-thaw cycles.
Restrictions
For research use only.
