Services
  • Immunohistochemistry Services

  • Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.

  • TCR Screening Services

  • Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding. Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

Specificity and Use

CDKN1B / p27 Kip1 antibody was raised against synthetic peptide from human CDKN1B / p27 Kip1.
C-Terminus
Peptide corresponding to the C-terminus of human p27
Immunohistochemistry: LS-B2503 was validated for use in immunohistochemistry on a panel of 21 formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded (FFPE) human tissues after heat induced antigen retrieval in pH 6.0 citrate buffer. After incubation with the primary antibody, slides were incubated with biotinylated secondary antibody, followed by alkaline phosphatase-streptavidin and chromogen. The stained slides were evaluated by a pathologist to confirm staining specificity. The optimal working concentration for LS-B2503 was determined to be 10 ug/ml.

Packaging

PBS, pH 7.4, 0.02% sodium azide.
Store at 2-8°C for up to 1 year. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

About CDKN1B / p27 Kip1

P46527 NM_004064 NP_004055.1

CDKN1B Antibody, KIP1 Antibody, MEN1B Antibody, P27 Kip1 Antibody, p27KIP1 Antibody, MEN4 Antibody, CDKN4 Antibody

Important regulator of cell cycle progression. Involved in G1 arrest. Potent inhibitor of cyclin E- and cyclin A-CDK2 complexes. Forms a complex with cyclin type D-CDK4 complexes and is involved in the assembly, stability, and modulation of CCND1-CDK4 complex activation. Acts either as an inhibitor or an activator of cyclin type D-CDK4 complexes depending on its phosphorylation state and/or stoichometry.

Immunohistochemistry

Immunohistochemistry
Anti-CDKN1B / p27 Kip1 antibody IHC of human brain, cerebellum. Immunohistochemistry of formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded tissue after heat-induced antigen retrieval. Antibody LS-B2503 concentration 10 ug/ml.
