Specificity and Use
CDK7 antibody was raised against 221 amino acid recombinant fragment of p40mo15 C terminus.
Recognizes the 40kD protein human cyclin dependent kinase 7 (cdk7). The protein kinase cdk7 has been shown to be associated with the transcription factor TFIIH and is thought to be involved in the control of cell cycle progression, DNA repair and RNA polymerase II (pol II) transcription.
Serine/threonine kinase involved in cell cycle control and in RNA polymerase II-mediated RNA transcription. Cyclin-dependent kinases (CDKs) are activated by the binding to a cyclin and mediate the progression through the cell cycle.
