  • Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.

  • TCR Screening Services

  • Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding. Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

Specificity and Use

CDK5 antibody was raised against bALB/C mice were injected with a recombinant cdk5 protein.
Reacts with a 31 kD protein known as cdk5. cdk-5 is expressed in both cycling and noncycling cells and is present in numerous mammalian tissues. Neuronal and muscle cells contain the highest amount of this protein. Cdk5 activity is involved in terminal differentiation of neurons and muscle cells. This antibody cross reacts with mouse and rat.

CDK5 Antibody, CDKN5 Antibody, Cell division protein kinase 5 Antibody, Crk6 Antibody, Cyclin-dependent kinase 5 Antibody, Protein kinase CDK5 splicing Antibody, PSSALRE Antibody, TPKII catalytic subunit Antibody

Proline-directed serine/threonine-protein kinase essential for neuronal cell cycle arrest and differentiation and may be involved in apoptotic cell death in neuronal diseases by triggering abortive cell cycle re-entry. Interacts with D1 and D3-type G1 cyclins.
