  • Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.

  • TCR Screening Services

  • Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding. Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

Specificity and Use

CDK4 antibody was raised against human recombinant full-length cdk4 polypeptide.
Recognizes human cdk4 protein present predominantly in G1 phase of cell cycle. It does not cross-react with cyclins. In immunohistochemical application on frozen sections of head and neck carcinoma (oropharynx and hypopharynx carcinoma) the antibody shows distinct nuclear staining, especially in tumor areas of enhanced proliferation.
Suitable for use in Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry (frozen and paraffin-embedded tissue, improved after microwave treatment). Immunohistochemistry: 1:10; Incubation Time 1-4 h at RT or overnight at 2-8?C.

Lyophilized from PBS, pH 7.4, 0.09% sodium azide, 0.5% BSA.
1,000 µl Sterile ddH2O
Store at -20°C lyophilized. Once reconstituted, aliquot and store at -20°C.
For research use only.

About CDK4

P11802 NM_000075 NP_000066.1

CDK4 Antibody, Cell division protein kinase 4 Antibody, Crk3 Antibody, Cyclin-dependent kinase 4 Antibody, CMM3 Antibody, p34/cdk4 Antibody, PSK-J3 Antibody

Ser/Thr-kinase component of cyclin D-CDK4 (DC) complexes that phosphorylate and inhibit members of the retinoblastoma (RB) protein family including RB1 and regulate the cell-cycle during G1/S transition. Phosphorylation of RB1 allows dissociation of the transcription factor E2F from the RB/E2F complexes and the subsequent transcription of E2F target genes which are responsible for the progression through the G1 phase. Hypophosphorylates RB1 in early G1 phase.
