Services
  • Immunohistochemistry Services

  • Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.

  • TCR Screening Services

  • Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding. Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

Specificity and Use

CD9 antibody was raised against human bone marrow malignant cells from acute non-T, non-B leukemia.
MW of the recognized antigen is 24kD. Recognizes 22-43% of peripheral non-T cells (B cells). Recognizes blood platelets and a few of granulous cells on normal bone marrow. Recognizes the majority of acute lymphoid leukemia, non-T, non-B, CALLA positive, some atypic or myeloid leukemias and chronic lymphoid leukemias. Recognizes the distal convoluted tubule and the distal right tubule of nephrons.
Fluorescent microscopy or flow cytometry. Flow Cytometry: 2 ug/5x10^5 cells/test. Immunohistochemistry: 1:25-1:50. Suitable on frozen sections or cell smears.

Packaging

Lyophilized.
200 µl deionized water

About CD9

P21926 NM_001769 NP_001760.1

CD9 Antibody, 5H9 antigen Antibody, BA2 Antibody, BA-2/p24 antigen Antibody, CD9 antigen Antibody, CD9 antigen (p24) Antibody, DRAP-27 Antibody, MIC3 Antibody, MRP-1 Antibody, Leukocyte antigen MIC3 Antibody, Tetraspanin-29 Antibody, TSPAN29 Antibody, BTCC-1 Antibody, CD9 molecule Antibody, Motility related protein-1 Antibody, Motility-related protein Antibody, TSPAN-29 Antibody

CD9 is a member of the transmembrane 4 superfamily, also known as the tetraspanin family. Tetraspanins are cell surface glycoproteins with four transmembrane domains that form multimeric complexes with other cell surface proteins. The encoded protein functions in many cellular processes including differentiation, adhesion, and signal transduction, and expression of this gene plays a critical role in the suppression of cancer cell motility and metastasis.
