Services
  • Immunohistochemistry Services

  • Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.

  • TCR Screening Services

  • Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding. Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

Specificity and Use

CD8B / CD8 Beta antibody was raised against mouse CD8b
This H35-17.2 (H35-17.2) antibody has been tested by flow cytometric analysis of mouse splenocytes. This can be used at less than or equal to 0.25 ug per test. A test is defined as the amount (ug) of antibody that will stain a cell sample in a final volume of 100 ul. Cell number should be determined empirically but can range from 10^5 to 10^8 cells/test. It is recommended that the antibody be carefully titrated for optimal performance in the assay of interest. The applications listed have been tested for the unconjugated form of this product. Other forms have not been tested.

Packaging

PBS, pH 7.2, <=0.09% sodium azide
Store at +4°C. Do not freeze. Product is photosensitive and should be protected from light.

CD8B Antibody, CD8b antigen Antibody, CD8b molecule Antibody, CD8B1 Antibody, p37 Antibody, LY3 Antibody, LYT3 Antibody, Leu2 Antibody

The CD8 antigen is a cell surface glycoprotein found on most cytotoxic T lymphocytes that mediates efficient cell-cell interactions within the immune system. The CD8 antigen, acting as a coreceptor, and the T-cell receptor on the T lymphocyte recognize antigens displayed by an antigen presenting cell (APC) in the context of class I MHC molecules. The functional coreceptor is either a homodimer composed of two alpha chains, or a heterodimer composed of one alpha and one beta chain.

Flow Cytometry

Flow Cytometry
Staining of BALB/c splenocytes with APC anti-mouse CD8a (53-6.7) (LS-C107303) and FITC anti-mouse CD8b (H35-17.2). Cells in the lymphocyte gate were used for analysis. This image was taken for the unconjugated form of this product. Other forms have not been tested.

Flow Cytometry

Flow Cytometry
Staining of BALB/c splenocytes with APC anti-mouse CD8a (53-6.7) (LS-C107303) and 0.125 ug of FITC Rat IgG2b Isotype Control. Cells in the lymphocyte gate were used for analysis. This image was taken for the unconjugated form of this product. Other forms have not been tested.
