Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to
worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting
immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.
TCR Screening Services
Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding.
Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".
IHC, IHC - Paraffin, ICC, Immunofluorescence, Western blot, Immunoprecipitation
Mouse Monoclonal (IgG1) to Rat CD86
Rat (tested or 100% immunogen sequence identity)
Protein G purified
Specificity and Use
Recognizes rat CD86 (B7-2), a transmembrane protein which has been identified as a ligand for both CD28 and CD152. CD86 is predominantly expressed on antigen presenting cells and expression may also be induced on B-cells by activation.
Flow Cytometry: Neat-1:10. The applications listed have been tested for the unconjugated form of this product. Other forms have not been tested.
PBS, pH 7.2, 0.1% sodium azide.
Short term: 4°C. Long term: Store at -20°C. Avoid freeze-thaw cycles.
CD86 is a type I membrane protein that is a member of the immunoglobulin superfamily. It is expressed by antigen-presenting cells, and it is the ligand for two proteins at the cell surface of T cells, CD28 antigen and cytotoxic T-lymphocyte-associated protein 4. Binding of this protein with CD28 antigen is a costimulatory signal for activation of the T-cell.
