Services
  • Immunohistochemistry Services

  • Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.

  • TCR Screening Services

  • Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding. Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

About CD82

P27701 NM_002231 NP_002222.1

CD82 Antibody, 4F9 Antibody, C33 Antibody, C33 antigen Antibody, CD82 molecule Antibody, GR15 Antibody, IA4 Antibody, Inducible membrane protein R2 Antibody, KAI1 Antibody, Kangai 1 Antibody, R2 Antibody, R2 leukocyte antigen Antibody, SAR2 Antibody, ST6 Antibody, Tetraspanin-27 Antibody, Tspan-27 Antibody, TSPAN27 Antibody, CD82 antigen Antibody, Leukocyte surface antigen r2 Antibody, Metastasis suppressor Kangai-1 Antibody

This metastasis suppressor gene product is a membrane glycoprotein that is a member of the transmembrane 4 superfamily. Expression of this gene has been shown to be downregulated in tumor progression of human cancers and can be activated by p53 through a consensus binding sequence in the promoter. Its expression and that of p53 are strongly correlated, and the loss of expression of these two proteins is associated with poor survival for prostate cancer patients.

Immunohistochemistry

Immunohistochemistry
Formalin-fixed and paraffin-embedded human lymph with CD82 (ST6) Antibody , which was peroxidase-conjugated to the secondary antibody, followed by DAB staining. This data demonstrates the use of this antibody for immunohistochemistry; clinical relevance has not been evaluated.

Western blot

Western blot
Western blot of ST6 (arrow) using ST6 Antibody. 293 cell lysates (2 ug/lane) either nontransfected (Lane 1) or transiently transfected with the CD82 gene (Lane 2) (Origene Technologies).

Flow Cytometry

Flow Cytometry
Flow cytometric of HepG2 cells using CD82 (ST6) Antibody (bottom histogram) compared to a negative control cell (top histogram). FITC-conjugated goat-anti-rabbit secondary antibodies were used for the analysis.
