  • Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.

  • TCR Screening Services

  • Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding. Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

Specificity and Use

CD80 antibody was raised against mouse CD80
The 16-10A1 antibody has been tested by flow cytometric analysis of activated mouse splenocyte suspensions. This can be used at less than or equal to 0.125 ug per test. A test is defined as the amount (ug) of antibody that will stain a cell sample in a final volume of 100 ul. Cell number should be determined empirically but can range from 10^5 to 10^8 cells/test. It is recommended that the antibody be carefully titrated for optimal performance in the assay of interest.

PBS, pH 7.2, <=0.09% sodium azide
Store at 4°C. Do not freeze.

About CD80

P33681 NM_005191 NP_005182.1

CD80 Antibody, Activation B7-1 antigen Antibody, B7-1 Antibody, B7.1 Antibody, BB1 Antibody, CD28LG Antibody, CD28LG1 Antibody, CD80 antigen Antibody, LAB7 Antibody, CD80 molecule Antibody, CTLA-4 counter-receptor B7.1 Antibody

Involved in the costimulatory signal essential for T-lymphocyte activation. T-cell proliferation and cytokine production is induced by the binding of CD28, binding to CTLA-4 has opposite effects and inhibits T-cell activation.

Flow Cytometry

Flow Cytometry
Staining of 3-day LPS activated C57Bl/6 splenocytes with 0.06 ug of Biotin Armenian Hamster IgG isotype control (open histogram) or 0.06 ug of Biotin anti-mouse CD80 (16-10A1) (colored histogram) followed by SAv-PE. Total viable cells were used for analysis.
