Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to
worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting
immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.
TCR Screening Services
Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding.
Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".
Mouse Monoclonal [clone HM47/A9] (IgG1,k) to Human CD79A / CD79 Alpha
IHC - Paraffin, Immunofluorescence, Western blot (applications tested for the base form of this product only)
Human CD79A / CD79 Alpha
Human, Rat (tested or 100% immunogen sequence identity)
IgG1,k Monoclonal [HM47/A9]
Protein G purified
IHC - Paraffin (0.5 - 1 µg/ml)
Western blot (0.5 - 1 µg/ml)
(applications tested for the base form of this product only)
Specificity and Use
CD79A / CD79 Alpha antibody was raised against a synthetic peptide consisting of GTYQDVGSLNIADVQ of human CD79a protein. Percent identity by BLAST analysis: Human, Gorilla, Gibbon (93%); Rat, Hamster, Bat, Horse, Pig (87%); Marmoset, Elephant, Bovine (80%).
10mM PBS, pH 7.4, with 0.2% BSA and 0.09% Sodium Azide
Required in cooperation with CD79B for initiation of the signal transduction cascade activated by binding of antigen to the B-cell antigen receptor complex (BCR) which leads to internalization of the complex, trafficking to late endosomes and antigen presentation. Also required for BCR surface expression and for efficient differentiation of pro- and pre-B-cells. Stimulates SYK autophosphorylation and activation.
Formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded rat spleen stained with peroxidase-conjugate and AEC chromogen. Note cell membrane staining of lymphocytes. This image was taken for the base form of this product. Alternate forms, such as conjugated, azide-free, or ready-to-use, have not been tested.
