Specificity and Use
Recognizes human CD66c and CD66e, members of the carcinoembryonic antigen family (NCA and CEA respectively). In flow cytometry this stains peripheral blood granulocytes, but not monocytes or lymphocytes. In immunohistochemistry, stains a range of tumor cells and also neutrophils and some endothelial cells. Cross-reactivity with other members of the CEA family has not been reported, but has not been formally excluded.
Flow Cytometry: Use 10 ul of the suggested working dilution to label 10^6 cells or cells or 100 ul whole blood. Immunohistochemistry: This product requires antigen retrieval using heat treatment prior to staining of paraffin sections. Sodium citrate buffer pH6.0 is recommended for this purpose. Histology Positive Control Tissue: Colonic cancer.
