Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to
worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting
immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.
Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding.
Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

IHC - Paraffin
CD4 antibody was raised against normal human blood lymphocytes.
Recognizes and is highly reactive with human CD4 antigen (MW 59kD). Partially blocks binding of monoclonals to Leu-3a. Antibodies do not cross-block with gp129 and do not inhibit HIV induced syncytium formation.
Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry and Immunohistochemistry. Immunohistochemistry: 1:2000 (Acetone-fixed frozen sections. Does not stain paraffin embedded tissue sections).
PBS, pH 7.5, 0.1% Sodium Azide
Short term: 4°C. Long term: Store at -20°C. Avoid freeze-thaw cycles.
CD4 is a membrane glycoprotein of T lymphocytes that interacts with major histocompatibility complex class II antigenes and is also a receptor for the human immunodeficiency virus. This gene is expressed not only in T lymphocytes, but also in B cells, macrophages, and granulocytes. It is also expressed in specific regions of the brain.
