  • Immunohistochemistry Services

  • Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.

  • TCR Screening Services

  • Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding. Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

Specificity and Use

CD4 antibody was raised against lymphoblasts
Rib 5/2 detects a 53kDa glycoprotein located on the cell surface Antigen distribution: Isolated cells: T-lymphocytes and thymocytes, monocytes, macrophages. Tissue sections: Rib 5/2 stains T-cell areas in the spleen and lymph nodes. In the thymus Rib 5/2 detects cortical and medullary thymocytes. It recognizes tissue macrophages and Th-cells according to the CD4 distribution. Specificity: Rat: subpopulation of T-Cells. Other species: not tested.

Lyophilized from PBS pH 7.2, 10mg/ml BSA, 0.01% thimerosal

CD4 Antibody, CD4 antigen Antibody, CD4 receptor Antibody, CD4mut Antibody, CD4 antigen (p55) Antibody, CD4 molecule Antibody

CD4 is a membrane glycoprotein of T lymphocytes that interacts with major histocompatibility complex class II antigenes and is also a receptor for the human immunodeficiency virus. This gene is expressed not only in T lymphocytes, but also in B cells, macrophages, and granulocytes. It is also expressed in specific regions of the brain.
