Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to
worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting
immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.
TCR Screening Services
Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding.
Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".
Mouse, Rat (tested or 100% immunogen sequence identity)
Specificity and Use
CD36 antibody was raised against synthetic peptide from extracellular domain of mouse CD36 (Fatty acid translocase) conjugated to an immunogenic carrier protein. The antigen shares 95% identity with rat sequence.
Specific for CD36.
IHC: Antigen retrieval is essential for use on paraffin sections.
Lyophilized. Centrifuge to remove any insoluble material
500 µl Sterile water
Maintain lyophilized and reconstituted antibodies at -20 °C for long term storage and at 2-8 °C for a shorter term. When reconstituting, glycerol (1:1) may be added for an additional stability. Avoid freeze and thaw cycles.
Binds to collagen, thrombospondin, anionic phospholipids and oxidized low-density lipoprotein (oxLDL). May function as a cell adhesion molecule. Directly mediates cytoadherence of Plasmodium falciparum parasitized erythrocytes. Binds long chain fatty acids and may function in the transport and/or as a regulator of fatty acid transport. Receptor for thombospondins, THBS1 AND THBS2, mediating their antiangiogenic effects.
