Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to
worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting
immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.
TCR Screening Services
Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding.
Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

Specificity and Use
CD36 antibody was raised against stimulated human leukocytes. Cellular Localization: Cell membrane.
Recognizes Human CD36 (MW: 88kD). Blocks adhesion of P. falciparum parasitized red blood cells to CD36. Strongly inhibits collagen-induced platelet aggregation.
Suitable for use in Function Blocking, Flow Cytometry, Immunofluorescence and Immunohistochemistry. Not suitable for use in Western Blot. Immunohistochemistry: Frozen. Positive control: Tonsil. The applications listed have been tested for the unmodified form of this product. Other forms have not been tested.
PBS, pH 7.4.
Long term: -20°C; Short term: +4°C. Avoid repeat freeze-thaw cycles.
Binds to collagen, thrombospondin, anionic phospholipids and oxidized low-density lipoprotein (oxLDL). May function as a cell adhesion molecule. Directly mediates cytoadherence of Plasmodium falciparum parasitized erythrocytes. Binds long chain fatty acids and may function in the transport and/or as a regulator of fatty acid transport. Receptor for thombospondins, THBS1 AND THBS2, mediating their antiangiogenic effects.
