Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to
worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting
immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.
TCR Screening Services
Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding.
Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

Specificity and Use
CD36 antibody was raised against a synthetic peptide mapping to a region of human CD36 between residues 100-200
The applications listed have been tested for the unconjugated form of this product. Other forms have not been tested. Immunohistochemistry and Western blot analysis, where a band is seen ~75-80 kD. The difference in theoretical MW and actual MW as seen in Western blot is most likely due to the heavy glycosylation and palmitoylation of this protein.
Binds to collagen, thrombospondin, anionic phospholipids and oxidized low-density lipoprotein (oxLDL). May function as a cell adhesion molecule. Directly mediates cytoadherence of Plasmodium falciparum parasitized erythrocytes. Binds long chain fatty acids and may function in the transport and/or as a regulator of fatty acid transport. Receptor for thombospondins, THBS1 AND THBS2, mediating their antiangiogenic effects.
Anti-CD36 antibody IHC of human skeletal muscle, adipocytes. Immunohistochemistry of formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded tissue after heat-induced antigen retrieval. Antibody LS-B508 concentration 5 ug/ml. This image was taken for the unconjugated form of this product. Other forms have not been tested.
Adipocytes 40x. This image was taken for the unconjugated form of this product. Other forms have not been tested.
Detection of CD36 in human adipocyte extract (30 ug). Lane 1: 0.5 ug/ml; lane 2: 2 ug/ml. ECL: 3 second exposure. This image was taken for the unconjugated form of this product. Other forms have not been tested.
