Services
  • Immunohistochemistry Services

  • Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.

  • TCR Screening Services

  • Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding. Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

Specificity and Use

CD33 antibody was raised against human AML cells.
Monoclonal antibody WM53 reacts with CD33, a 67 kD type I transmembrane glycoprotein (immunoglobulin superfamily) expressed on myeloid progenitors, monocytes, granulocytes, dendritic cells and mast cells; it is absent on platelets, lymphocytes, erythrocytes and hematopoietic stem cells.
Immunohistochemistry (frozen sections): Application note - acetone fixation. Functional Application: Induction of cytokine production.

Packaging

PBS, pH 7.4, sterile filtered.
Store at 2-8°C. Do not freeze.

CD33 Antibody, CD33 antigen Antibody, CD33 molecule Antibody, gp67 Antibody, SIGLEC-3 Antibody, p67 Antibody, CD33 antigen (gp67) Antibody, SIGLEC3 Antibody

Putative adhesion molecule of myelomonocytic-derived cells that mediates sialic-acid dependent binding to cells. Preferentially binds to alpha-2,6-linked sialic acid. The sialic acid recognition site may be masked by cis interactions with sialic acids on the same cell surface.
