Services
  • Immunohistochemistry Services

  • Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.

  • TCR Screening Services

  • Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding. Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

Specificity and Use

CD209 / DC-SIGN antibody was raised against mouse CD209
This 5H10 antibody has been tested by flow cytometric analysis of mouse splenocytes and CIRE-transfected CHO cells. This can be used at less than or equal to 1 ug per test. A test is defined as the amount (ug) of antibody that will stain a cell sample in a final volume of 100 ul. Cell number should be determined empirically but can range from 10^5 to 10^8 cells/test. It is recommended that the antibody be carefully titrated for optimal performance in the assay of interest. The applications listed have been tested for the unconjugated form of this product. Other forms have not been tested.

Packaging

PBS, pH 7.2, 150 mM sodium chloride, 0.09% sodium azide
Store at 4°C. Do not freeze.

About CD209 / DC-SIGN

Q9NNX6 NM_021155 NP_066978.1

CD209 Antibody, CD209 antigen Antibody, CD209 molecule Antibody, CDSIGN Antibody, CLEC4L Antibody, DC-SIGN Antibody, HIV gpl20-binding protein Antibody, DC-SIGN1 Antibody

Pathogen-recognition receptor expressed on the surface of immature dendritic cells (DCs) and involved in initiation of primary immune response. Thought to mediate the endocytosis of pathogens which are subsequently degraded in lysosomal compartments. The receptor returns to the cell membrane surface and the pathogen-derived antigens are presented to resting T-cells via MHC class II proteins to initiate the adaptive immune response.

Flow Cytometry

Flow Cytometry
Staining of C57Bl/6 splenocytes with 1 ug of Biotin Rat IgG2a isotype control (open histogram) or 1 ug of Biotin 5H10 (colored histogram) followed by Streptavidin-PE. Data shown are gated on CD11C+ cells. This image was taken for the unconjugated form of this product. Other forms have not been tested.
