Immunogen
Normal human peripheral blood lymphocytes.
Specificity
Recognizes human CD2, a single chain transmembrane glycoprotein of 50 kD, expressed by T cells, NK cells and thymocytes. CD2 is a receptor for CD58 (LFA-3), and is important in mediating the interaction between T cells and target cells or antigen presenting cells. Inhibits NK cell mediated cytotoxicity, and ConA and PHA mediated blast transformation.

Usage
Flow Cytometry: Use 10 ul of the suggested working dilution to label 10^6 cells or 100 ul of whole blood using the lysed whole blood labeling method. Method sheets are available on request. The applications listed have been tested for the unconjugated form of this product. Other forms have not been tested.

Store at 4°C or at -20°C. Store undiluted. Avoid freeze-thaw cycles. Protect from light. Microcentrifugation recommended if solution contains precipitate.
