Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to
worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting
immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.
TCR Screening Services
Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding.
Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".
Mouse, Rat (tested or 100% immunogen sequence identity)
Western blot (1 - 3 µg/ml)
Specificity and Use
CCR4 antibody was raised against synthetic peptide derived from the N-terminal region of mouse CCR4 (C-C chemokine receptor-4).
Specific for mouse and rat CCR4. On Western blots, it identifies the target band at ~45 kD. Reactivity has been confirmed with mouse EL-4 and SVEC4-10 cell lysates, immature mouse thymus homogenates, and rat thymus homogenates.
Suitable for use in Western Blot. Western Blot: 1-3 ug/ml.
PBS, pH 7.4, 0.1% sodium azide.
Long term: Add glycerol (40-50%) -20°C; Short term: +4°C
High affinity receptor for the C-C type chemokines CCL17/TARC and CCL22/MDC. The activity of this receptor is mediated by G(i) proteins which activate a phosphatidylinositol-calcium second messenger system. Can function as a chemoattractant homing receptor on circulating memory lymphocytes and as a coreceptor for some primary HIV-2 isolates. In the CNS, could mediate hippocampal-neuron survival.
