Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to
worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting
immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.
TCR Screening Services
Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding.
Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".
Human (tested or 100% immunogen sequence identity)

Specificity and Use
CCR2 antibody was raised against human CCR2 transfected NSO mouse myeloma cells.
Monoclonal Anti-Human CCR2 reacts with CCR2 transfected cells and not the parent cell line by flow cytometry. The antibody shows no cross-reactivity with CCR5 transfected cells. Species cross-reactivity: Cross-reacts with Human. Not yet tested in other species.
CCR2, a Chemokine Receptor, is a regulator of monocyte/macrophage trafficking and is upregulated in response to inflammation. Resistance to HIV-1 infection or delayed progression to AIDS may be linked to CCR2 polymorphisms. The ligand for CCR2 is monocyte chemoattractant protein (MCP-1), a chemokine produced by endothelial cells, smooth muscle cells, and macrophages.
