Services
  • Immunohistochemistry Services

  • Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.

  • TCR Screening Services

  • Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding. Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

  • Neutralization (3 - 4 µg/ml)
  • (applications tested for the base form of this product only)

Specificity and Use

CCL13 / MCP4 antibody was raised against e.coli derived recombinant Human MCP-4.
Human MCP-4
Neutralization: To yield one-half maximal inhibition [ND ] of the biological activity of hMCP-4 (30 ng/ml), a concentration of 1-1.5 ug/ml of this antibody is required. ELISA: To detect hMCP-4 by sandwich ELISA (using 100 ul/well antibody solution) a concentration of 0.5-2 ug/ml of this antibody is required. This antigen affinity purified antibody, in conjunction with Biotinylated Anti-Human MCP-4 (LS-C104731) as a detection antibody, allows the detection of at least 0.2-0.4 ng/well of recombinant hMCP-4. Western Blot: To detect hMCP-4 by Western Blot analysis this antibody can be used at a concentration of 0.1-0.2 ug/ml. Used in conjunction with compatible secondary reagents the detection limit for recombinant hMCP-4 is 3-4ng/lane, under either reducing or non-reducing conditions.

About CCL13 / MCP4

Q99616 NM_005408 NP_005399.1

CCL13 Antibody, C-C motif chemokine 13 Antibody, CKb10 Antibody, MCP-4 Antibody, MCP4 Antibody, Monocyte chemotactic protein 4 Antibody, New CC chemokine 1 Antibody, Small-inducible cytokine A13 Antibody, NCC1 Antibody, CK-beta-10 Antibody, NCC-1 Antibody, SCYA13 Antibody

Chemotactic factor that attracts monocytes, lymphocytes, basophils and eosinophils, but not neutrophils. Signals through CCR2B and CCR3 receptors. Plays a role in the accumulation of leukocytes at both sides of allergic and non-allergic inflammation. May be involved in the recruitment of monocytes into the arterial wall during the disease process of atherosclerosis. May play a role in the monocyte attraction in tissues chronically exposed to exogenous pathogens.
