Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to
worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting
immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.
TCR Screening Services
Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding.
Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".
Human (tested or 100% immunogen sequence identity)
Western blot (1:1000 - 1:2000)
Specificity and Use
CBX8 antibody was raised against the epitope recognized maps to a region between residue 350 and the C-terminus (residue 389) of human Chromobox homolog 8 using the numbering given in entry NP_065700.1 (GeneID 57332).
This antibody is specific to the CBX8 protein. Species cross-reactivity: Human. Other species not yet tested.
Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot, Immunoprecipitation. Western Blot: 1:1000-1:2000.
Component of a Polycomb group (PcG) multiprotein PRC1-like complex, a complex class required to maintain the transcriptionally repressive state of many genes, including Hox genes, throughout development. PcG PRC1 complex acts via chromatin remodeling and modification of histones; it mediates monoubiquitination of histone H2A 'Lys-119', rendering chromatin heritably changed in its expressibility.
