  • Immunohistochemistry Services

  • Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.

  • TCR Screening Services

  • Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding. Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

CASP9 / Caspase 9 is a member of the cysteine-aspartic acid protease (caspase) family. Sequential activation of caspases plays a central role in the execution-phase of cell apoptosis. Caspases exist as inactive proenzymes which undergo proteolytic processing at conserved aspartic residues to produce two subunits, large and small, that dimerize to form the active enzyme.

Formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded dog brain sections stained for cleaved Caspase-9 expression using LS-C148247 antibody at 1:2000. A. Section from a dog brain 2 hr after reperfusion injury. B. Section from a dog brain sham control (brain surgery but no injury). Hematoxylin-Eos in counterstain.

Formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded human brain sections stained for cleaved Caspase-9 expression using LS-C148247 antibody at 1:2000. A. Section from a patient 24 hr after head trauma. B. Control: section from a patient with no known neurological disease or head injury. Hematoxylin-Eos in counterstain.

Formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded dog brain sections stained for cleaved Caspase-9 expression using LS-C148247 antibody at 1:2000. A and B. The pattern of Caspase-9 staining may vary between different types of neurons. Hematoxylin-Eosin counterstain.
