Recognizes canine distemper virus nucleoprotein. Species Crossreactivity: phocine distemper virus, racoon distemper virus and human measles virus. Does not react with CAV2, CCV, CPI and CPV.

Usage
Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry. Western Blot: Detects bands of 76kD, 68kD, 54kD and 32kD under reducing conditions. Immunofluorescence: Staining detects a cytoplasmic pattern in infected cells. Immunohistochemistry (Paraffin and Frozen sections): Paraffin embedded sections require antigen retrieval by the use of heat treatment prior to staining.
