  • Work with LifeSpan to design a custom immunohistochemistry to address your specific biological question. Outsource the entire localization process without having to worry about finding and characterizing target specific antibodies, sourcing and validating difficult-to-find tissues, and having the ability to interpret the resulting immunostaining in relation to complex human pathologies.

  • TCR Screening Services

  • Test your therapeutic antibodies in immunohistochemistry against a broad panel of normal frozen human tissue types in order to determine potential unintended binding. Our non-GLP TCR services are designed on the FDA recommendation outlined in their "Points to Consider in the Manufacture and Testing of Monoclonal Antibody Products for Human Use".

Specificity and Use

CAMK2B / CaMKII Beta antibody was raised against purified rat brain CaM Kinase.
Specific for b subunit of CaM Kinase II. Reactivity with other subunit isoforms is minimal to zero unless the proteins are expressed at very high concentrations. Positive reactivity has been seen on Western blots with human, mouse, rat, goldfish and sea urchin egg samples.
Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot, Immunoprecipitation and Immunohistochemistry. ELISA: 0.1-1 ug/ml. Immunohistochemistry (paraffin): 1-5 ug/ml. Immunoprecipitation/IP kinase assays: 2 ug. Western Blot: 1 ug/ml.

PBS buffer, pH 7.4, 0.09% sodium azide
May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12months.
For research use only.

Calcium/calmodulin-dependent protein kinase that functions autonomously after Ca2+/calmodulin-binding and autophosphorylation, and is involved in dendritic spine and synapse formation, neuronal plasticity and regulation of sarcoplasmic reticulum Ca2+ transport in skeletal muscle. In neurons, plays an essential structural role in the reorganization of the actin cytoskeleton during plasticity by binding and bundling actin filaments in a kinase-independent manner.

Anti-CAMK2B antibody IHC of rat brain. Immunohistochemistry of formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded tissue after heat-induced antigen retrieval. Antibody LS-B5767 concentration 10 ug/ml.
